Freak Out is a amusement ride with a pendulum motion.

The riders sit facing each other on chairs suspended around the bob on the pendulum. The pendulum is supported by two A-frames with a height of 13 meters, but in motion, the pendulum climbs to a maximum angle on 120º and reaches a height of 22 meters. Whilst swinging, the chairs rotate around the axis of the pendulum.

Gyro Swing Amusement Ride

A Giant Frisbee, also known as Gyro Swing, is a large pendulum based amusement ride built by HUSS rides of Germany. Riders are placed into outward facing seats arranged into a circle that spins counterclockwise at 8 RPM (rotations per minute). The ring of seats is attached to the end of a pendulum arm that sways back and forth in a 240º arc.
